Inscription reads: Sacred to the memory of William son of Samuel and Mary Buck of Skeffling who departed this life on the 19th of February 1861 aged 14 years. A youth is laid beneath this stone. Death nipp’d the bud the blossom’s gone. Be still each parents sighing heart. Time is but short that we shall part.
