Inscription reads: Here lieth the body of Jemima wife of John Fewson of Lockham who departed this life April 1st 1794 aged 32 years. Mourn not for me Im dead and gone . My loving husband God’s will be done. But on my children pity take. And love them for their mothers sake. Also two of their children who died infants.
